Dear Realtor Partners,

We are pleased to announce the Honor Roll of Realtors program for 2018, which brings together real estate experts and philanthropy in support of our local public schools. Over the past 23 years, our realtor community has contributed over $936K through this program to benefit the Los Altos School District (LASD) and MVLA High School District (MVLA) through their respective foundations. Thank you!

The LASD and MVLA are among the top 2% of districts nationally with increasing enrollment again this year. Since 1982, the two educational foundations have granted $53M in critical funding needed to ensure a well-rounded, high quality education for every K-12 student in eleven elementary, junior high and high schools.

MVLA and LAEF’s combined fundraising goal for the 2017-18 school year is $5.5M. The MVLA Foundation’s grant supports smaller freshman class sizes, Tutorial and College and Career centers, in addition to funding for teacher innovation grants, wellness and expansion of the AVID program. LAEF’s grant supports teachers and program staff for STEM, arts, literacy, wellness and personalized learning.

To help MVLA and LAEF fully fund their grants, we are committed to raising $110,000 from the local realtor community. Each Foundation asks its families to donate $1,000-$1200 per enrolled student and therefore, we would like to suggest a donation of $1,000 or more this year.

We plan to continue our sponsorship levels at $5,000, $2,500, $1,000 and $500 to provide more options and benefits with unique marketing opportunities. A few of the benefits include:

  • Your photo on center spread color ad in the Los Altos Town Crier and Mountain View Voice
  • UpToUs.com online business listing with photo
  • Your realtor banner ad highlighted in foundation e-newsletters
  • Recognition year-round with Honor Roll of Realtors 2017 rider signs

Thank you in advance for joining our Honor Roll of Realtors by December 13, 2017. Every one of our 8,700 students are counting on your contribution this year. In addition, thousands of parents and community members will recognize and appreciate your philanthropic spirit.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us or the MVLA High School Foundation office at (650) 940-4670, email: info@mvlafoundation.org for further information.

Warm regards,
