What is Leadership Circle?
The Leadership Circle comprises parents and community members who not only value education but are willing to set themselves apart by making a contribution of $5,000 or more.
For 30 years, the Foundation has been raising money to benefit all district students: reducing class sizes, providing instructional technology, staffing the Tutorial and College/Career Centers and funding PSAT exams, to name just a few of the programs the Foundation supports. Our schools would be very different places without these programs.
In just two years, the State has cut MVLA’s funding by $3,200,000. Proposition 30 stopped the bleeding, but didn't get our public schools out of the hospital. The district continues to need our financial support, which is why the Foundation’s fundraising goal has increased to $1,200,000 this year. We expect our gift to become even more important in allowing the district to maintain the excellent level of education our students deserve, our community expects and colleges desire.
