Community Partners
The MVLA High School Foundation is grateful for the support of our community partners, who join us in maintaining academic excellence in our high schools.
Honor Roll of Realtors
Many thanks to the 2012-13 Honor Roll of Realtors who have generously donated to enable our local schools to afford academic and enrichment programs that would otherwise not be possible. Their personal commitment to education in our community deserves our thanks and support. We ask you to "support the Realtors who support our schools!" See Letter to the Editor from our Executive Director >>
The Honor Roll of Realtors is a program that was developed in partnership by the Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF) and the Mountain View/Los Altos High School Foundation (MVLA). LAEF supports enrichment classes, including art, music, science, technology and physical education in the Los Altos School District (K-8). The MVLA High School Foundation provides a valuable support structure to help high school students succeed, including college and career counseling, tutorial centers and extended library hours. Both Foundations contribute to class-size reduction.
Whole Foods Los AltosA great big THANK YOU to Whole Foods Market Los Altos for inviting us to participate in their 5% Shopping Day promotion on Dec 12, 2012 . The day's proceeds added up to nearly $7,000 for the MVLA High School Foundation! And thanks to all of you who shopped to support our excellent schools! |
